USE OF A BARRIER MASK

The barrier mask absolutely does not exempt the user from the application of barrier gestures supplemented by the measure of social distancing which are essential. It is recalled that collective protection measures must be taken as a priority over individual protection measures.
HOW TO WEAR A MASK:
Wash your hands with soap and water or using a hydroalcoholic solution before handling the mask.
• Place the barrier mask on the face (mouth and nose covered as well as the chin)
• Once adjusted, do not touch the barrier mask with your hands. Whenever the barrier mask is touched, the user should wash their hands with soap and water or an alcohol-based solution.
REMOVE THE MASK:
In order not to be contaminated when removing a barrier mask, it must be properly removed and isolated, either to be discarded or to be washed. For this, it is recommended to:
• Remove protective gloves if necessary.
• Wash your hands with soap and water or use an alcohol-based solution.
• Remove the barrier mask by gripping the elastics of the flange set from the back without touching the front part of the barrier mask.
• Place the washing barrier mask in a specific container (clean plastic bag).
WASH AND DRY YOUR MASK:
• Avoid contact between a washing barrier mask and clean clothing items.
• Machine wash with suitable detergent (without fabric softener) at 60 ° for 30 minutes is recommended.
• The complete drying of the barrier mask must be carried out within less than two hours after leaving the wash.
DURATION OF USE:
The barrier mask should be washed whenever it is soiled, wet or improperly positioned on the face.
It should not be placed in a waiting position on the forehead or under the chin during and after use.
The wearing time of the mask is 4 hours maximum. During this period, the mask can only be used several times if it is removed according to the instructions, temporarily stored or hung to offer the least possible contact, and returned according to the instructions.
WHAT TO AVOID:
The following list includes examples of the use of the barrier mask which should be avoided and which is informed by the feedback from experience: • The barrier mask cannot be used for protection against chemicals. • The barrier mask must not be frozen. The viral agent is stored and at 4 ° C, it does not lose its infectious nature. • The rules of social distancing must be respected despite the wearing of a barrier mask.
